In the extensive range of exterior architectural projectors, KOLORGLOBE 7000 is the CYM single beam colour changer searchlight that tops the GRIVEN catalogue. This concept in such a high power lamp fixture is almost unique and the combination of moving beam and colour change provides a truly spectacular display that could be a highlight for any permanent or temporary event. KOLORGLOBE 7000 uses a 7000W flicker free lamp with precision electro-shaped nickel-rhodium coated reflector to give an extraordinary light output, further enhanced by the narrow angle beam which can be adjusted electronically between 1,5º and 15º.

KOLORGLOBE 7000 features the ability of exchanging the head of the unit with any of the other GRIVEN single or multi-beam moving head versions of the same 7000W projectors range. The CYM colour mixing system gives an enormous range of colour hues, and the unit is weatherproofed to a certified IP44 rating for a comfortable exterior use. On board or remote DMX512 gives access to all functions, which include frost soft edge effect, black out, electronic dimmer, enhanced electronic strobe and standby. Although it is likely that this unit will normally be run by external DMX (13 channels required), pre-programmed colour sequences plus a movement demo programme means that the unit could be used stand alone.

The projector has been specifically designed for suspended use for touring shows applications, however the base unit features brake locking wheels and screw jacks for floor-mounted installations, while transit locks are provided for the pan and tilt movement. The outstanding KOLORGLOBE 7000 has huge creative possibilities with live event use. This wide range of abilities makes the unit ideal for rental companies, as well as for fixed installations in large scale concepts.
