DMX512 (Digital Multiplex) is a standardized method used to control stage lighting and effects by means of a digital communication network. Before this was developed, light dimmers were often controlled using various proprietary systems that were typically incompatible with each other. Using a standardized system of operation streamlines and simplifies stage lighting.

Depending on the specific model, features of our dimmer packs may include 4 channels and double output, multiple automatic/chase speeds and master/slave operation, individual channel fuse protection, LED display, 3-pin XLR male and female connectors and DMX input and output. Certain models let you switch between chase and DMX modes, and some can work as either a standalone chaser or as a dimmer pack (DMX). Some of these dimmer packs include built-in preset programs.
