KOBI 18 Watt R30 LED is a flawless replacement for a 100 watt R30/BR30 incandescent reflector flood.
It has a frosted polycarbonate lens so the individual LED chips are not visible when lit.
The WARM 100R30 produces 1,100 lumens, which results a LED light bulb that is equal to a 100 watt R30 incandescent reflector flood.
The 2700k color temperature is similar to the warm color produced by an incandescent light bulb, with intended uses in track and recessed can lighting.
The Kobi R30 line of LED light bulbs is fully dimmable and compatible with the most commonly available dimmer switches on the market.

My kitchen is like a different room. I have an 18 foot cathedral ceiling and was anxious to find an ultimate lasting bulb (I needed eight) that would go years without replacing and as many lumens as I could get into an eyeball canned light. Each bulb offers 1100 lumens and still gives a warm white light. It is FABULOUS! The only complaint that some might have is that they do not dim well. This is no problem for me because I am thrilled to have lots of light, but if you did want to dim them often you might be disappointed. Perhaps a different dimmer switch would help. I've only had them in a few days. Time will tell about the durability, but, for now, I am ecstatic! My experience with BulbAmerica could not have been better. I felt like the advice I received from my sales person was accurate and to the point. Shipping was exactly when they stated. I am a happy customer! (Posted on 1/13/13)Overall Value Quality Feature
