The globe CFL is one of the most popular CFL bulbs for home and business accent and decorative lighting. Globe CFLs typically feature E26 medium screw bases and can be used in many different applications including table and floor lamps, wall sconces, reading lamps, open hanging pendants, Hollywood style mirror lighting, and many others. Globe bulbs are often used in applications where the bulb is visible; the large round bulb envelope of the globe CFL not only provides quality soft light, but brings style to any room or fixture they are used in. Our globe CFLs come in every wattage from 5W to 25W and are offered in 120V (line voltage) versions to make these bulbs extremely easy to use and without the need for low voltage transformers. From 2,700K to 6,500K, our globe (CFL bulbs) are available in a wide range of color temperatures so you can get the lighting in your home, business, or other space exactly how you want it. Different fixtures and different lighting situations demand different sized globe CFLs. We carry Globe CFLs in every size from G19 to G30; the number following ‘G’ (globe) denotes the number of eights on an in the bulb is in diameter. A G19, for example is 19/8 of an inch in diameter or 2.38in in diameter. This CFL bulb, like all "CFL bulbs", lasts up to 5 times longer than traditional incandescent bulbs, meaning that you won’t have to waste time changing bulbs every 1,000 to 2,000 hours or risk burning your hands changing hot bulbs.
