The PAR64 Reflectors are to be lightweights and cost effective in comparison to the standard par lamps. The standard par socket can connect with the mogul socket this reflector uses. The PAR Reflectors are for use with the DYS 300w-600w lamps or DYR 220v 650w lamp.

Good substitution for sealed par64 bulbs. It is relatively cheap, light weight and durable and produces a light beam comparable to that of a sealed bulb. If a bulb is burned you need to change only it rather then the whole thing. It is much cheaper. Cons is that it does not have a diffuser built in. I have tried to use a paper diffuser from. It works not bad, but it takes out too much light. I have ordered a gel diffuser, but have not had a chance to test it.
