I purchase only one to check out the quality.
I currently put 50-100 lbs on a long cross bar at the top of a speaker tripod extended to 10 ft.
Very nice design, though the execution is not quite as good.
Nice solid base and the lifting is great.
A little tinkering made a significant difference in smoothness of function and reliability.
This will make my lighting life a lot easier.
I'll be buying another soon and fixing it.
