The OSRAM SYLVANIA is a 25watt, 120volt incandescent light bulb. It has an intermediate Base. The lifespan varies from 1500-1750 hours depending on usage. This lamp is a Buldging Reflector which means its going to be off set with your fixture. It is also lightly frosted from the inside which helps reflect light for a brighter out with its soft 2850k color temperature.

I have several "lava" lamps that use this type of bulb. I was able to purchase 30-bulbs (including shipping) from BulbAmerica.com for less than the price of six bulbs from my local hardware store (couldn't even find these bulbs at Home Depot).
