Yes this is a yellow LED lamp in a mr16 housing with a GU10 base. You should also know that it is a single LED lamp and that it throws an extremely narrow spot. I purchased it to experiment lighting point of purchase displays and for possible specialty uses in theatrical lighting. It gives off little to no heat. Of course I want it brighter and wider but it is what it is and I am sure that when it burns out in 10 or 12 years, the perfect replacement will be available for cheap. For now, it does give a good saturated yellow , but in a very narrow spot - I haven't measured it but in about 3 feet of throw, I seem to remember that you get about a 5" circle of light.
