Boston's W Hotel Gets a Dash of LED Lighting from Chauvet


The 28-story W Hotel in Boston is among the city’s tallest buildings and features an alluring architectural detail recently installed, a stripe of purple light that runs up the building’s glass corner. This flourish of architectural lighting was installed to celebrate the opening of the hotel. The lighting was produced by 28, one on each floor, Chauvet COLORdash Quad RGB LED wash units, providing a rich colorful light while consuming minimal electricity. This lighting assignment required that the units be able to plug directly into a wall output and operate without producing heat in order to ensure safe operation.
