I did have difficulty with installation. The new assembly would not align properly when I tried to engage it into the housing. After several attempts I finally pushed it really hard and I heard a snap and it finally when in. It works great as far a the picture goes. I believe the old one had been going dim very slowly for quite some time before it finally quit. The picture quality it great now. Thanks, Pat (Posted on 9/19/13)
