So to speak. I purchased 4 of these 250w lamps and put them into my (purchased here) Par 38 stage light cans. I mounted an S clamp on each and hung them as front fill. My previous experiences with my par38s has all been as fill using the BR40 120w lamps. (that works very well) so imagine my surprise to see my little par38s reacting like a par56 Medium. Much larger hot spot then i expected and with the lowered power, great for the portable lighting i design and supply .
