Product Description

This is the Philips PAR38 bulb. This lamp uses 250 watts and 120-130 volts. The Philips PAR has a E26 medium screw in base and a 4000 hour rated life span. The lamp has a beam angle of 40 degrees. Philips Family of Specialty Incandescents provides the ideal light for dramatic accents and display lighting as well as general lighting in a variety of applications. These PAR Krypton flood lamps are available with medium skirted bases.

I know - a second review. It's been over 6 months and these are still going strong. They take the beating of over-the-road transport and keep on working. They gel GREAT and add the extra tone needed when working within those tight power budgets. They are still in the P38 cans I bought here at Bulb America and run in the lower cost dimmer packs I bought here also. Just bought a board too - ( the 5th for the company and the first from here) Just saying - this stuff lasts and we're making $$$ not Breaking the bank. (Posted on 2/12/13)

So to speak. I purchased 4 of these 250w lamps and put them into my (purchased here) Par 38 stage light cans. I mounted an S clamp on each and hung them as front fill. My previous experiences with my par38s has all been as fill using the BR40 120w lamps. (that works very well) so imagine my surprise to see my little par38s reacting like a par56 Medium. Much larger hot spot then i expected and with the lowered power, great for the portable lighting i design and supply . (Posted on 5/14/12)
