Terms and Conditions of BulbAmerica

Unless otherwise stated in any approved purchase between you and BulbAmerica, the following terms and conditions apply to all of your online purchases from our website (www.BulbAmerica.com), and may not be altered in any way, shape, or form. Any attempt to modify this document in any way, or to place an order under terms and conditions other than those stated in this document will nullify said order, unless a signed agreement between you and BulbAmerica can be produced.

Return Terms
All returns require a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number, which can be obtained by contacting our Customer Service department or clicking the "Your Account" button in the top-right hand corner of our web page.

Due to their seasonal nature, we do not accept returns on Christmas / Holiday / Event items.

Please save all packaging and accessories for any item that is returned to BulbAmerica.com. All original equipment, components, manuals, cables, documents and packaging must be returned with your item in order for BulbAmerica.com to process your RMA. An item returned for a replacement may be repaired or replaced at BulbAmerica.com's discretion, unless otherwise required by law. Products with specific refund and return policies and deadlines must be returned within the time periods specified for each item. All items sold through BulbAmerica.com are subject to our Policy and Agreement. Physically damaged items cannot be returned.

All returns for a refund are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Removal or alteration of a product's serial number or serial number sticker will automatically void your BulbAmerica Return Policy. Products that are returned to BulbAmerica with a missing, damaged or altered serial number will be refused RMA service and returned to you.

Purchase Order Terms
Orders are accepted under the following terms: Orders must be approved by BulbAmerica headquarters. There is US $20.00 minimum order. Shipping charges are determined directly by our regular shippers – FedEx or UPS with the option for Pick-Up from our NY Location. Purchase orders from organizations that do not pay promptly are not accepted. Please fax purchase orders to 718-707-0404.

Personal and Business Checks
We hold personal and business checks for ten days prior to shipment of orders. For faster payment options, you may utilize the following: certified checks, money orders, PayPal, or credit cards. Please note that there is a $30.00 fee for all returned checks. A warrant is issued for all checks not paid within 30 days of notification.

Shipping Terms
Shipping costs for BulbAmerica.com orders depend on the methods that are selected at checkout. Please note that shipping rates are all weight-based. To reflect the standard policies of the shipping carriers we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound. Orders will be shipped via USPS or FedEx at BulbAmerica's discretion to expedite delivery as quickly as possible.

Delivery Time Terms
Orders placed before 2:00pm Eastern Time will be processed within 24 hours. Orders received after 2:00pm Eastern Time will be processed on the following business day.

We ship using FedEx & USPS via Ground shipping to Next Day Air Early AM (depending on the customers choice).

International Shipping Terms
Please note that in addition to the Items and delivery charges we apply to your order, you may also be required by your country of residence to pay import duties and taxes. Please contact your local customs office for further information so that you are sure about the applicable duties and taxes before you place your order. We are not responsible for payment of such duties and taxes. In the event that you fail to pay such duties and taxes or you fail to collect your order, and the order is then returned to us, we will require you to pay any costs that we have incurred as a consequence.

Express Shipping Terms
Express and Overnight delivery orders placed after 12PM EST will be shipped the following business day. Standard Express and Overnight orders deliver Monday through Friday; Saturday and Sunday are not considered Service Days for Express and Overnight deliveries. BulbAmerica offers shipping methods with a Saturday Delivery option for certain orders. If you have any questions regarding your Express or Overnight order, please contact us at 1-888-505-2111 during standard business hours (8:00am-5:00pm EST Monday-Friday). Any changes that need to be made to an Express shipping order must occur within one hour of placing the order on BulbAmerica.com.

Product Availability and Prices
Product availability may change without notice. BulbAmerica reserves the right to notify customers of inventory and price changes at the time of order confirmation.

Sales Tax
BulbAmerica will calculate, display and charge the customer sales tax for orders shipping to: 
Arkansas, California, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.

Orders delivered in the states mentioned above, which are for resale purposes, will be charged tax, unless the appropriate tax exempt certificate is delivered to BulbAmerica prior to the sale.

Limitation of Liability
In returning any product to BulbAmerica, the consumer enters an AGREEMENT that any damages or negligence on the part of BulbAmerica, its subsidiary, or agents will only entitle you to a replacement of the product in question. In any other case, product(s) purchased through BulbAmerica.com will not incur any warranty or liability, and recovery for any incidental or consequential damages are excluded. BulbAmerica does not warrant any product it sells for any purpose.
